  1. Balham PARTICULARS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE of Freehold Building Land having frontages to Balham Hill Road and Endlesham and Ramsden Roads, The New Roads Leading Therefrom, within a few minutes' walk of the Balham & Clapham Junction Railway Stations, for Sale by Auction... 12th May, 1871. 5pp., folio, plus docket title, folded. 1871. £12.00

  2. Farnham WILLIAM MASON. SUMMING BOOK. FEBY. 5TH 1808. Farnham. Surrey. Price Five Shillings. Pupils mathematics book, title page in manuscript as above, with calligraphic flourishes in the margins, and 143 pages of mathematics working. 4to, full vellum binding, vellum slightly darkened, name 'Wm. Mason Farnham' and date 1806 in manuscript on front board, with calligraphic flourishes. With heading such as 'Compound Division', 'Golden Rule in Decimals', 'Long Measure', 'Decimal Arithmetick Numeration', 'Duodecimals', 'Extraction of the Square Root'. Headings are usually written in a 'Gothic' style in bold, with flourishes. The book is completely full, with no blank pages. Loosely inserted are two letters dated 1894 and 1904, from teachers at Farnham Grammar School, to the son of William Mason, thanking him for the loan of he book, and commenting on it 'the books and teachers of 1808 were stimulating to a high degree. Though rules were expressed in language which to us seems quaint the examples given required considerable thought on the part of solvers of problems.... The Writing and Flourishes I am lost in admiration of...' 1808. £300.00
    Inside the front board is written 'Wm. Mason. This is my book, God himself is my witness, If any one shod. steal it from me, He shall be hung by the neck.' With the Latin verse underneath.

  3. Farnham, Guildford, Croydon ORDNANCE SURVEY MAP Sheet VIII. Scale 1" to 1 mile. Size approx. 25" x 37", dissected and mounted on linen, folding into faded 8vo cloth endpapers. Some rust spots and some sections slightly darkened at edges. Printed from an Electrotype. n.d. c1880. £15.00

  4. Guildford, Reigate ORDNANCE SURVEY MAP Sheet VIII. Scale 1" to 1 mile, size 24" x 36". Linen-backed and folding into small 4to marbled endpapers, which are faded. A few minor foxing spots at edge of one section. Printed from an electrotype 1869. £30.00
    Covers Farnham, Charlwood, Croydon, Kingston, Wokingham.

  5. Haslemere LEASE FOR A YEAR of 33 rods of land next to a common called Carpenters. William Bristow, Blacksmith, to Benjamin Cooper. Size 10" x 20", signed with wax seal. Ink slightly faded. 1773. £16.00

  6. Haslemere RELEASE of a piece of ground in Hooks Lane, William Bristow to Benjamin Helyer. On vellum, size 17" x 23", wax seal with bust. 1773. £18.00
    A different hand has noted below the title on verso 'piece of ground on the left going to the Bell Farnhurst before you come to Carpenters Heath.'

  7. Haslemere, Frensham ORDNANCE SURVEY MAP Sheet 301. Scale 1" to 1 mile, size 12" x 19", plus wide margins. Folded in four. c1880. £12.00
    Covers Headley, Ewhurst.

  8. Horsham, Haywards Heath NEW ONE INCH ORDNANCE SURVEY Sheet 302. Scale 1" to 1 mile. Size 13" x 19", plus wide margins. Some railways added later in colour. Folded in four. 1884. £12.00

  9. Kingston upon Thames CONVEYANCE of a house and land at Norbiton, Catherine Morehead to Jemima Laurence. Vellum 3p., folio. Small plan in text. Three wax seals. 1869. £6.00

  10. Kingston upon Thames CONVEYANCE of a messuage called 'Elton Lodge, Elton Road, Norbiton, Mary Laurence to Charles Oldridge. Large vellum sheet, wax seal. 1881. £6.00

  12. Reigate ORDNANCE SURVEY MAP Sheet 286. Scale 1" to 1 mile, size 14" x 19". Some railways added very neatly in red ink. Railways inserted to 1904. £10.00
    Covers Leith Hill, Lingfield, Epsom.

  13. Sutton CONVEYANCE of hereditaments in the Parish of Sutton, E. Clapham to Miss J. Worrell. 2 large vellum sheets, 3 wax seals, the second sheet being a fully coloured manuscript plan, size 19" x 26", scale 4«" = 400ft. Scale bar, compass rose. Plan shows plots near St. James Road and Sydney Road, shows rows of trees, buildings, pool, garden paths etc. Adjacent owners named. 1895. £18.00
